Work with various stakeholders to elicit and document technical requirements and take them to end to end execution
Work independently as the senior or lead business analyst and coaches and guides members within area of expertise
Lead the Requirements Management for moderate to high complexity/risk initiatives
Ensure vendor solutions meet contractual, regulatory and business expectations
Effectively communicate with Senior business stakeholders, Product owners and leadership
Act as primary liaison between internal teams and vendors
Support testing and quality control of all changes, including execution of automated testing and building test cases for manual testing.

Requirements

7+ years of previous Business System Analyst experience
Strong understanding of programming languages – Java, Gosu, SQL scripting
Expertise in Excel
Experience with insurance policy management systems or rating engines preferred
Good understanding of personal lines insurance products and pricing.
Understanding of Agile methodology and previous experience working in an Agile environment preferred.
Excellent communication skills
Superior analytical abilities
Excellent math skills; Mathematics or Actuarial Science degree would be an asset.
