About the role
- Plan, manage, and deliver distinct projects
- Indirectly manage project team(s) consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs and technology resources
- Engage Executive Sponsor, senior leadership, and other key stakeholder groups
- Provide on-going communication to key stakeholders
- Respond to inquiries and escalate concerns from stakeholders at all levels
- Deliver project outcomes aligned to established cost, timing, deliverable and scope objectives
- Generate cost estimates and provide project financial management
- Proactively identify and track project risk and develop mitigation plans
Requirements
- 4-6 plus years progressive project/program-related experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project management whether PDLC or Agile methodology
- Exposure with financial management with respect to tracking, forecasting and managing project budgets
- Team player with ability to lead and influence to achieve results through effective negotiation and problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Regulatory experience in Canadian financial institutions (advantageous)
- Knowledge of key applications: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Office 365, and Clarity PPM for project delivery
