About the role
- Refine underwriting process, simplify rules, help other business partners to better understand the acceptable risks
- Contribute to and participate in development and maintenance of procedures
- Look for business process improvements
- Actively monitor results for trending patterns and/or issues in order to continuously improve
- Contribute to change management activities within the team
- Participate in Underwriting initiatives as required
- Adhere to established service level agreements
- Adapt quickly to system changes/enhancements/environment
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/ Commerce or related field
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of returning to studies at the end of the internship
- Strong analytical, critical reasoning and problem solving skills
- Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous circumstances
- Can perform effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Must thrive in fast paced environment and be comfortable with constant deadlines
