About the role

  • Lead the strategy, planning and delivery of major European events (live, virtual and hybrid)
  • Manage a portfolio of flagship internal and external events end‑to‑end
  • Introduce innovation and best practices to elevate event experience
  • Collaborate with business units and country marketing teams to shape scalable event concepts
  • Develop and support sponsorship packages with vendor marketing teams
  • Oversee budgets, financial planning, cost control and performance reporting
  • Manage contracts, agencies, providers and event support teams
  • Drive attendance management and optimise event participation
  • Manage and enhance our online event platform
  • Lead on‑site event operations and stakeholder communications

Requirements

  • Strong B2B marketing and events experience, including large in‑person events
  • Experience with vendor funding, sponsorships and IT‑sector partner engagement
  • Knowledge of marketing/event tools and modern delivery processes
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders up to C‑level
  • Strong organisational and project leadership skills
  • Comfortable working at pace on multiple complex projects
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages a plus
  • Creativity, resilience and a collaborative mindset
  • Willingness to travel across Europe for events
