About the role

  • The Contract Manager is responsible for supporting TD SYNNEX in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
  • Uses advanced negotiation skills and influence to lead and manage contract negotiations as needed to meet established milestones and objectives.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products and service offerings.
  • Maintains a client-focused approach that balances business profitability with contractual terms and conditions that protect the company and minimize risk.
  • Supports TD SYNNEX’s Legal department systems and tools and actively promotes their use across the organization.
  • Understands the roles and responsibilities of relevant employees and leverages others’ expertise to achieve business objectives.
  • Provides regular input into the development and maintenance of standard contract templates and pre-approved alternative language.
  • Acts as an active member of the global legal services team, contributing to policy development, participating in project work, and implementing initiatives and directives across the organization.
  • Advises on legal aspects of TD SYNNEX’s transactional business using sound legal and commercial judgment and experience.
  • Collaborates with local management teams, the global legal services team, and external legal counsel on various matters.
  • Participates in cross-regional and global negotiations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience practicing commercial/corporate/contract law, with an emphasis on commercial buy/sell transactions.
  • Preferably in-house experience handling complex contract review and negotiation matters.
  • Language requirements: advanced proficiency in German and English.
  • Qualified law degree from an accredited institution (preferably in Germany) or a related degree required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to negotiate persuasively and effectively.
  • Capable of making sound legal decisions.
  • Able to interact positively and effectively with stakeholders at various levels within the organization and with external parties.
  • Able to work effectively in a multitasking environment and perform constructively under stress and pressure.
