About the role
- Develop and drive the company’s IAM vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of IAM solutions, including identity lifecycle management and privileged access.
- Establish and enforce IAM governance frameworks, policies, and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, GDPR).
- Evaluate and integrate IAM technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping Identity).
- Ensure proper role-based access controls (RBAC) and least privilege principles across enterprise systems.
- Lead IAM operations, including provisioning, access reviews, and incident response for identity-related events.
- Build and mentor a high-performing IAM team, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate IAM into enterprise workflows and partner ecosystems.
- Define and track IAM performance metrics, reporting on identity security posture and compliance.
- Stay abreast of IAM advancements, Zero Trust, and AI-driven identity solutions for future Improvements.
Requirements
- 15 Years+ of relevant work experience
- >10 to 15 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees
- Master’s / Postgraduate degree required in the field of Cybersecurity.
- Recent experience working for large, complex global organizations (10,000+ employees).
- Expert in Engineering Solutions for Corporate and Customer Environments and Requirements.
- Experience with managing a follow the sun model organization.
- Experienced with understanding and implementing the Zero Trust Model regarding IAM.
- Experience in evaluating and optimizing tools and technology stack, and negotiating contracts.
- Experience with strategic planning, multiyear roadmap and financial management for all aspects of the IAM budget.
- Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Able to demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
- Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
- Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local / regional language.
- Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
- Able to interact effectively with high levels of management (managers & above.)
