About the role
- Manage a portfolio of top tier client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all promotional merchandise sales
- Track sales activity and pipeline updates in Monday.com
- Achieve growth targets as set forth by Taylor Promotional Products management
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations and product demonstrations to drive engagement and sales
- Stay current on industry trends, build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Maintain all responsibilities in the areas of business development, ideation, quoting and financials in a fast-paced environment
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue, drive product adoption, and maximize client satisfaction
- Penetrate client buying groups/departments and develop new programs for revenue growth
- Support and participate in client business reviews preparing relative data and information
- Online storefront merchandising and management (ideation, costing, pricing, plating)
- Online and offline promotions
- Marketing calendar management (client events, initiatives, days of observance)
- Develop online pop-up store opportunities to support client needs
- Ideation and Quoting: Promotional merchandise apparel and hardgoods expert
- Ideation, costing and building PowerPoint/Canva decks for larger spend opportunities
- Inventory costing/replacement ideation
- Work with Taylor Agency for higher level impact merchandising and presentation development as needed
- Quote presentation + follow-up with client
- Lead kitting projects opportunities and work with internal departments for costing
- Achieve client revenue growth targets
- Maintain client profit margin targets
- Monitor any client inventory to remain current and develop plans to sell and/or invoice for any aged product
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in promotional merchandise including branded apparel
- 2+ years of account management and/or customer service experience
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high service standards
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and inspire
