About the role

  • Gather data from internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Clean, organize, and maintain datasets to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Use database management tools to efficiently store, retrieve, and manage data.
  • Analyze datasets using statistical methods to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or R to communicate findings effectively.
  • Identify and address business challenges through data-driven solutions and recommendations.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive reports summarizing key metrics, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Present findings to stakeholders clearly and concisely, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and gather requirements.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable data requirements.
  • Support data-driven decision-making across departments by providing reliable and timely analysis.
  • Apply predictive modeling, trend analysis, and other statistical techniques to forecast and optimize outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through data insights.
  • Responding in a timely manner to IT related issues and requests.
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware (printers, scanners, tablets, etc.) and/or software (Office, ERP, Solidworks, etc.).
  • Providing technical support and training across the company (in person or over the phone, teams).
  • Creating accounts for new hires and deleting/disabling them upon departure to maintain security.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
  • Testing new technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Experience in data analysis or a related field (or equivalent academic experience).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleaning and manipulation.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with databases and querying languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
  • Proficiency with SmartSheet is an asset.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
