About the role
- Prepare and submit sales tax filings monthly
- Monitor clients' tax collection variances and resolve issues
- Provide assistance to resolve time-critical issues including working with tax authorities
- Assist with special client projects (late/amended returns, audits, company info updates)
- Update internal documentation, workflows, and processes
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients after onboarding
- Continue learning and advancing sales tax technical skills
Requirements
- 2+ Years of Accounting or Audit Experience
- Ability to manage multiple clients (Multi-Client Master)
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Comfortable learning and using new technology
- Reliable high-speed home internet
- Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
- Effective communication in English (written and verbal)
- Teamwork and willingness to share learnings
- Ability to follow rules and processes while thinking creatively
- Eagerness to learn new skills and advance professionally
- Willingness to arrange reference calls with former managers
