About the role
- Write, edit, and publish engaging blog posts targeting U.S. expats
- Optimize content for SEO (titles, meta descriptions, internal linking, headers, etc.)
- Assist with content audits and updates to keep existing content competitive
- Research keywords and topics aligned with our growth strategy
- Draft and edit lead magnet content (guides, checklists, free resources)
- Support landing page copy and optimization, applying best practices in persuasive writing
- Contribute to email marketing sequences that nurture and convert leads
- Assist with monthly newsletter production (writing, editing, formatting)
- Repurpose content for social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X)
- Help brainstorm new ways to grow our subscriber base and community
- Support webinar presentations by preparing slide decks
- Use AI tools for drafting, optimization, and research
- Track performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and share insights
- Stay up to date with trends in AI, SEO, and digital marketing
Requirements
- 2–4 years’ experience in content marketing, copywriting, or related roles
- Strong writing and researching skills; ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Familiarity with SEO and basic web tools (e.g., SEMrush, Clearscope, Wordpress)
- Some experience with email marketing and/or landing page copy
- Comfortable experimenting with AI tools to improve efficiency and quality
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from senior team members
- Bonus: Experience writing about finance, business, or global living
