About the role

  • Designs, reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs
  • Writes, tests, debugs, and maintains the detailed instructions that Drake tax software programs must follow to perform their functions
  • Executes programmer-level (unit) testing to identify defects and confirm the software meets specifications
  • Provides quick response to customer and support requests for assistance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Computer literacy required
  • Practical experience writing code in Visual Basic, Power Basic, Turbo Basic, Quick Basic, C, C++ or a similar language
  • Flexibility with hours during peak season required
