About the role
- Ensure the organization, maintenance and control of documents essential for acting on behalf of clients (powers of attorney, articles of incorporation, etc.);
- Draft simple petitions (document filings, objections to virtual judgments, etc.);
- Ensure the execution of protocols and other external diligences, especially those necessary to obtain certificates from the Judiciary and Public Administration;
- Assist in monitoring Administrative and Judicial Proceedings;
- Perform diligences before registry offices and notaries, court registries and judges' chambers (state courts - TJ and federal regional courts - TRF), extrajudicial notaries, the Federal Revenue of Brazil, municipal governments, state finance departments, Attorney General's Offices, and other public bodies;
- Maintain control of electronic notifications in both administrative and judicial matters;
- Monitor expiration dates of certificates essential to clients' activities;
- Schedule appointments with public entities;
- Arrange hearings and oral arguments on behalf of affiliated lawyers, etc.;
- Conduct legal research on legislation and case law to support associates and partners.
Requirements
- Law degree;
