About the role
- Drive net new business across Southwestern Europe, focusing on high-value opportunities
- Engage with internal teams (Services Business Leads, Product Specialists) to deliver tailored, consultative solutions
- Understand customers’ technical, operational, and business needs to create trust and demonstrate measurable value
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships, secure sponsorship and negotiate commercial terms up to C-level
- Develop a strong regional presence and shape Mastercard Identity’s go-to-market strategy in Western Europe
- Work with strategic, high-profile clients influencing their identity, fraud, and risk management strategies
- Contribute to strategic projects and organizational growth; operate in a fast-evolving, high-growth market
- Target acquirers, large financial institutions, and major e-commerce organizations as a hunter-oriented role
Requirements
- Extensive experience in direct enterprise sales, ideally in identity, fraud, risk, or payments
- Proven background in consultative SaaS solution selling to large enterprises
- Track record of generating net new business and navigating long sales cycles (6–12 months)
- Ability to build and sustain executive-level relationships and negotiate commercial terms up to C-level
- Communicate effectively in English; Spanish or Italian considered a strong plus
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Ability to travel ~ 30% of the time
- Agile, resilient, and customer-focused mindset
- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies; ensure confidentiality; report security incidents; complete mandatory security trainings
