Manage the company’s accounting and financial statements preparation
Ensure accurate financial records are maintained
Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting processing
Collaborate with other departments to prepare reliable financial information
Analyze and prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements and required schedules for management reports
Prepare adhoc analysis and reports for senior management and Board of Directors
Lead the year-end external audit and collaboration with actuaries

Requirements

CPA designation
5 years of progressive experience in the accounting and finance function
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with sophisticated ERP system
Insurance background is an asset
Knowledge of IFRS 17 is an asset
Access to High-Speed Internet connection at home is essential
