About the role
- Support the brand with the development of new fixtures and VM props
- Work with procurement teams to go out to suppliers for pricing and RFI’s
- Review shop drawings, finish samples, and prototypes
- Maintain finish & fixture library and millwork documentation
- Develop detailed millwork design drawings
- Actively participate in and produce presentations for weekly design meetings
Requirements
- Professional degree in Architecture, Industrial Design or similar
- 6+ years relevant experience in millwork design, retail store design, architecture or construction
- Expert knowledge of millwork level detailing and materials
- Strong design and 3D presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in SketchUp, SketchUp Layout, Adobe Programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design), and proficient in AutoCAD and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with condensed timelines
- Ability to set priorities with strong initiative
