About the role
- Deliver sales results through employee development and mentorship.
- Develop sales strategies, initiatives and growth across all categories; communicate goals to the team, track store’s performance at all times and achieve sales productivity management.
- Develop clienteling strategy; implement and monitor over time, to achieve business goals and objectives in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Understand changes in market with potential impact on business performance and support the execution of sales strategies/tactics.
- Act as brand ambassador in the market/mall to drive loyalty and business.
- Resolve customer issues in a timely manner while being solution-oriented and forward thinking.
- Develop team to build long-term relationships with customers to drive business.
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed without negatively impacting service of Coach standards.
- Build trusting relationships with peers and team; act as advocate for the Brand.
- Evaluate performance of all team members and provide consistent and timely feedback; create and modify action plans for the continuous development in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Adhere to all retail policies and procedures including POS and Operations.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of previous management experience in a luxury retail service environment preferable.
- Possess current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Experience using retail systems (i.e. labor management, inventory systems, sales reporting, etc.)
- Ability to execute at a fast pace.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team.
- Ability to maneuver the sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room; climbing, bending, and kneeling are required.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, at times, lift and carry product/cartons up to 50 pounds to process product shipment/transfers.
- Ability to meet Coach Scheduling & Availability Expectations, including ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays high retail traffic and sales days.
