About the role

Drive strategic initiatives that are critical to Tap’s growth
Lead the company’s data strategy, acting as the cross functional owner of data product development, partnerships, operations, and go-to-market
Drive strategic partnerships with LPs, GPs, and software companies, such as for the acquisition of private fund data
Create and maintain models behind valuation estimates, indices, and other Data Products
Generate periodic reports and topical research utilizing data
Drive adoption and awareness of Tap by syndicating data and research into news publications, portfolio management systems, service providers, and other third parties
Devise and structure new transaction modalities, such as instant transactions or synthetic trading
Support the financial business planning process including cash flow planning, fundraising, financial reporting, compliance, M&A, and exit planning
Contribute to the big picture of company strategy and vision

5+ years of experience as a secondaries buyer or investment banker
Deep understanding of private fund investments including the goals of market participants and the mechanics of private funds
Business owner mentality with a willingness to wear multiple hats
Experience working in small, agile teams
Comfortable in a highly dynamic environment
Leadership experience at a venture backed startup
Experience pricing funds in secondary transactions across multiple asset classes
