About the role
- Gather and maintain requirements for a portfolio of Salesforce projects
- Assist with functional and technical design and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Test and evaluate new and existing technologies during concept validations
- Act as liaison between stakeholders in Sales, Partner, Marketing, Commercial Ops, and Finance
- Work as a member of the Business Systems team to ensure transparency and timely delivery of project deliverables
- Drive planning, prioritization, design, development and deployment of new projects and system enhancements
- Create and groom user stories and partner with the delivery team to deliver solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and serve as a trusted technology advisor to business users
- Coordinate and perform system testing; support UAT including tracking issues to resolution and securing end user acceptance sign-off
- Partner with business operations to define, plan, and execute small and medium projects and ongoing run-the-business enhancements and fixes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certification preferred
- Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification or Business Analyst Certification is a plus
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst/implementation consultant/solutions architect supporting Salesforce platform
- 5+ years of experience with declarative development on the Salesforce platform as an administrator
- Experience designing and supporting large scale, technically complex solutions on Salesforce and associated ecosystems
- Hands-on experience working with Salesforce CPQ and CPQ Advanced Approvals
- Good understanding of software testing; ability to build test plans and execute unit, functional and user acceptance test cycles
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of Change Management processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Ability to balance multiple tasks; adapt in fast growing/fast paced environment
