Maintain smooth operation of different cloud-based systems, including coordination with network administrators.
Set up administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation for cloud infrastructure and tenant inventory, tune system performance, install system wide software and allocate mass storage space.
Respond to large-scale events involving instantiation of virtual resources such VMs and storage.
Fix critical software and system failures.
Propose, drive and implement technical solutions for automation, efficiency and scalability.
Develop/improve tools, reports, and processes to monitor the health of cloud environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience supporting cloud systems administration and infrastructure operations
Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and system issues with moderate guidance
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure administration, automation, and security principles
Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure administration, automation, and security principles
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and configuration management
Experience with network administration, including switches, routers, and VoIP infrastructure
DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification
At least one cloud certification
