Maintain smooth operation of cloud-based systems
Set up administrator and service accounts
Maintain system documentation for cloud infrastructure and tenant inventory
Tune system performance, install system-wide software, and allocate mass storage space
Respond to large-scale events involving virtual resources
Troubleshoot and resolve critical software and system failures
Propose, drive, and implement technical solutions for automation, efficiency, and scalability
Develop and enhance tools, reports, and processes for cloud environment monitoring

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with at least 8 years of relevant experience
Active Secret Clearance
Considered an emerging authority in cloud systems administration
Ability to develop technical solutions to complex infrastructure challenges with minimal guidance
Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure administration, automation, and security principles
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and configuration management
Experience with network administration, including switches, routers, and VoIP infrastructure
DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification
At least one cloud certification
