About the role
- Overall responsibility for the operational areas of Production, Warehouse, Engineering & Technical Services, Demand Management, Transport Management, and Strategic Sourcing, overseeing more than 200 employees
- Ensure workplace and process safety
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements as well as company policies
- Responsible for departmental budgets and KPI tracking
- Ensure efficient production processes
- Develop strategies for process optimization
- Close collaboration with Executive Management, Sales, and R&D to achieve company objectives
- Plan and manage capacity to ensure on-time deliveries
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering (BSc/MSc) and several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- At least 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing company
- Deep understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and quality standards
- Business-fluent German and English
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, as well as knowledge of HACCP and GMP
