About the role
- Overall responsibility for plant management with a focus on operational KPIs
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the department with over 100 employees
- Ensuring occupational and process safety as well as health and environmental protection
- Responsibility for compliance with legal requirements and company strategies
- Management of departmental budgets and projects
- Optimization of production capacities and processes to meet company objectives
- Establishing a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering (Bachelor's/Master's)
- At least 5 years of management and professional experience in a comparable position within a food manufacturing company
- Business-fluent German and English
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, and strong knowledge of HACCP and GMP
- Empathetic, people-oriented leadership style with strong communication skills and assertiveness
- Excellent strategic thinking and decisiveness
- Interest in change processes and implementing new ideas
