About the role
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings of vehicle components using Siemens NX.
- Assist project managers in designing structural, mechanical, and electrical components for electric powersports vehicles.
- Maintain revision control and proper documentation for all designs.
- Support fabrication, assembly, and integration of prototype vehicle components.
- Work with manufacturing and suppliers to source parts and materials for rapid prototyping.
- Use 3D printing, CNC machining, and other fabrication methods to support prototype development.
- Assist engineers in evaluating fit, function, and assembly feasibility of prototypes.
Requirements
- Technical degree or certification in mechanical design, drafting, CAD, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and assembly processes.
- CAD design and assembly management skills (Siemens NX preferred).
- Experience with manufacturing methods such as 3D printing, machining, welding, or composite materials.
- Ability to read and produce technical drawings and GD&T specifications.
