About the role
- Serve as a proactive People/HR strategic partner to field operational leaders
- Align human capital strategies with business needs
- Attract, develop and retain a high performing team
- Act as a liaison between the field and subject matter leaders
- Collaborate with executives and business leaders for optimal outcomes
- Identify trends and implement key action plans utilizing reporting and people/HR data
- Counsel leadership on performance management
- Collaborate with Home Office subject matter leaders in key talent initiatives and programs
- Utilize employee relations and metrics to identify barriers and drive recommendations
- Lead workforce planning in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Talent Development
- Function as a compensation consultant and coach leaders in compensation decision making
- Provide day-to-day HR support including policy interpretation and exit interviews
- Implement centralized HR tools and processes to meet business needs
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant human resources experience, ideally in a fast paced multi-site organization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR programs to include compensation, performance management, employee relations, and talent acquisition/talent development.
- Experience providing HR consultation to leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization and employs a data driven approach to solve business problems.
- Comfortable functioning independently as well as within a team while working towards the broader HR vision/network goals.
- Knowledge of employment law as it applies to administration of policy and process.
