About the role

  • handle AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda) with IaC tools (AWS CDK, Terraform CDK, CloudFormation)
  • build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and automate deployments
  • optimize resources, set up monitoring tools (CloudWatch, New Relic), and ensure systems perform well
  • follow security best practices, manage backups, and create disaster recovery plans
  • assist in writing clear documents; communicate updates to stakeholders
  • work with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 1+ year of experience with AWS services and DevOps tools
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools (AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, TFCDK) and CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
  • Familiar with scripting languages: Python, Ruby, Groovy, and Shell
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools
  • Good communication in English.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Nice to have: Experience with performance tuning, scalability, and high availability architectures. AWS certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or similar.
