About the role

  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing sales team
  • Create and monitor sales plans to drive success against sales goals
  • Increase market share and achieve/exceed performance targets
  • Meet or exceed overall sales quota for your assigned region
  • Implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards
  • Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives
  • Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • 4-7 years Verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Preferred)
  • 2 Years People management responsibilities (Preferred)
  • 2 Years Telecommunications/technical sales (Preferred)
  • Strong coaching skills with ability to conduct difficult conversations (Required)
  • Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one on one (Required)
  • A proven track record of high yield business sales success (Required)
  • Well-honed negotiating and closing skills (Required)
  • Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes in order to attract and retain top sales talent (Required)
  • Proven leadership abilities, including inspiring and motivating teams (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
