About the role
- Lead the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing sales team
- Create and monitor sales plans to drive success against sales goals
- Increase market share and achieve/exceed performance targets
- Meet or exceed overall sales quota for your assigned region
- Implement key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards
- Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings
- Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives
- Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
- 4-7 years Verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Preferred)
- 2 Years People management responsibilities (Preferred)
- 2 Years Telecommunications/technical sales (Preferred)
- Strong coaching skills with ability to conduct difficult conversations (Required)
- Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one on one (Required)
- A proven track record of high yield business sales success (Required)
- Well-honed negotiating and closing skills (Required)
- Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes in order to attract and retain top sales talent (Required)
- Proven leadership abilities, including inspiring and motivating teams (Required)
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
