About the role
- Leads the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing sales team responsible for outside direct sales
- Creates and monitors sales plans to drive success against sales goals
- Coordinates and runs frequent sales meetings
- Implements key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards
- Conducts ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field
- Increases market share and achieves/exceeds performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, and churn
- Meets or exceeds overall sales quota for assigned region
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
- 4-7 years Verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Preferred)
- 2 Years People management responsibilities (Preferred)
- 2 Years Telecommunications/technical sales (Preferred)
- Strong coaching skills with the ability to conduct difficult conversations (Required)
- Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one on one (Required)
- A proven track record of high yield business sales success (Required)
- Well-honed negotiating and closing skills (Required)
- Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes (Required)
- Proven leadership abilities (Required)
