About the role

  • Leads the hiring, training, and development of a high-performing sales team responsible for outside direct sales
  • Creates and monitors sales plans to drive success against sales goals
  • Coordinates and runs frequent sales meetings
  • Implements key operational initiatives in the field while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards
  • Conducts ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field
  • Increases market share and achieves/exceeds performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, and churn
  • Meets or exceeds overall sales quota for assigned region

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • 4-7 years Verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Preferred)
  • 2 Years People management responsibilities (Preferred)
  • 2 Years Telecommunications/technical sales (Preferred)
  • Strong coaching skills with the ability to conduct difficult conversations (Required)
  • Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one on one (Required)
  • A proven track record of high yield business sales success (Required)
  • Well-honed negotiating and closing skills (Required)
  • Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes (Required)
  • Proven leadership abilities (Required)
