Systems Engineer

• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting for physical and virtual Unix/Linux servers supporting applications, databases, monitoring tools, and other enterprise services.
• Provide technical support for Unix/Linux servers and workstations, including the installation and troubleshooting of scientific applications used for imaging, computational biology, and bioinformatics.
• Automate server configuration and deployment using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Packer, Vagrant, and VMware vSphere.

Linux System Engineer

• Review IT programs for the unclassified and classified networks to assess overall compliance with IT plans and policies
• Review IT programs for the five (5) phases of project management: conception and initiation, planning, execution, performance / monitoring, and project closure
• Manage and provide oversight on assigned Enterprise, short and long term IT projects and ensure adequate resources are assigned and aligned with core service delivery and FOC criteria satisfaction
• Provide a comprehensive project plan for all requirements/projects to include costs and budgets, personnel, planning, quality control, direction, coordination, deliverable submissions, and reviews to ensure effective contract performance
• Manage the performance and customer satisfaction associated with the delivery of Enterprise engineering solutions and the execution, monitoring and completion of Statement of Work (SOW), PWS and other Government Required Documents (GRD)
• Provide Technical Solutions
• Submit Technical Solution for requirements 30 working days after assignment or no more than 60 working days due to the complexity
• Shall ride in Government vehicles only as a passenger for official duties only

Project Manager, DOD Secret Clearance Required

• Architect and administer SharePoint and application infrastructure.
• Support Azure cloud resources, virtual machines, resource groups, and networking.
• Manage F5 load balancing and Web Application Firewall environments.
• Lead DevOps automation and deployment pipelines.
• Support FISMA compliance and ATO activities.
• Manage application security scans and remediation.
• Support migrations from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.

Senior Software Engineer

• Monitor and maintain appropriate Cyber Security controls and ensure Operational Security requirements are according to the performance standards established in the C4IM Services List (latest version) for all assigned servers.
• Maintain all aspects of the Network Attached Storage (NAS) or any other back-up solution the Government will establish as a standard back-up solution (i.e. Global Enterprise Solution).
• Maintain control and access of data storage, space allocation, and device usage for authorized users; analyze file organization and database structure, taking action as required to eliminate deficiencies; set alarms and report unauthorized access attempts/intrusions, correct weaknesses/vulnerabilities, and document permission violations at local, group, or global level.
• Perform local database administration for standard database software for common user services.
• Perform backups for standard databases for common-user services.
• Manage virtual filers including Virtual File Manager system.
• Identify and replace failed hardware with government furnished replacements; ensure all back-up systems are operating on latest versions of software and have required patches and patches.
• Create and manage Group Policy Objects.
• Assist with development of an updated Quarterly Enterprise System Management Architectural Design Document describing service level offerings and planned enhancements.
• Draft and maintain SOP documents for the functional category.
• Contribute to T&T proposal activities and all other duties as assigned by T&T managers.
