About the role

  • Report to the Director of Strategic Growth
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to government regulatory agencies, bridging the gap between agency needs and software solutions
  • Perform, report, and participate in all sales efforts to achieve revenue targets
  • Build strong relationships with key decision makers within target markets
  • Perform discovery sessions to understand regulatory processes and operational challenges
  • Translate agency requirements into compelling software solutions, presentations, and proposals
  • Act as a liaison between agencies and internal teams
  • Use the Company’s CRM for all activities
  • Engage with new sales opportunities to expand product sales
  • Document information uncovered during interactions with customers
  • Follow established sales processes and regularly report on sales progress and engagement status

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with government regulatory agencies, public-sector consulting, or regulatory technology
  • Strong understanding of government regulatory processes and compliance environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in improving business relationships and successfully developing new business opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues. develop recommendations, and execute action plans
  • The ability to balance competing priorities and keep multiple stakeholders informed on progress
  • Naturally think on your feet in a conversation and can answer unexpected questions with ease
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Internal motivation and tenacity are among your strongest traits
  • You have a strong passion for sales and sales processes
  • Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Confident using CRM programs, LinkedIn, web, and other tools to research, plan, execute, and track activities to report progress towards goals
