About the role

  • Participate in the sales qualification process to identify new projects.
  • Identify and secure the availability of Syntax resources to respond to RFPs.
  • Manage the team throughout the RFP response process, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting sales materials for potential new projects.
  • Actively participate in Steering Committee and project team meetings as required.
  • Manage relationships with client stakeholders to align expectations regarding the solution to be delivered.
  • Provide guidance to the project manager and project team to resolve issues and escalations.
  • Proactively manage client stakeholder satisfaction to position and secure client references and success stories.
  • Coach the team and assess member performance while reinforcing Syntax's values.

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of Project Management experience in an SAP environment, with consulting experience considered a major asset.
  • Delivery of at least 3 full life-cycle implementation projects.
  • Over 5 years of client management experience.
  • Hands-on functional experience in at least one SAP module is required.
  • Experience in retail and discrete manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with the SAP Public Cloud methodology, including use of CALM, is a plus.
  • Experience as a functional consultant and/or project manager.
  • Degree in management, computer science, or a related field.
  • Relevant project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) are an advantage.
