About the role
- Recruiting & Applicant Management: You create and publish job postings, screen and evaluate incoming applications, and organize and conduct initial interviews.
- You ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- HR Operations: You support administrative tasks in the daily business.
- These tasks include drafting employment contracts and contract amendments, preparing employment references, and maintaining and updating personnel data in Personio.
- Event Coordinator: Whether it’s a summer party in Berlin, a game night at the office, or a remote quiz via Zoom — you plan and coordinate our team events and create shared team experiences.
- Point of Contact: For administrative and organizational questions across the employee lifecycle, you develop into a trusted, solution-oriented contact for our employees.
- HR Reporting: You support our Head of HR in preparing and maintaining central HR metrics.
Requirements
- Experience: Ideally at least one year of operational HR experience or experience in a comparable role (e.g., internship, working student position, or entry-level role).
- First experience in a startup or a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Ownership & Execution: You take responsibility for your areas and drive them forward independently.
- In a dynamic environment you keep an overview even at a high pace and enjoy advancing topics pragmatically and solution-focused.
- Structured Working: Goal-oriented and structured work is important to you.
- You work carefully and with attention to detail and can organize yourself well.
- Reflection & Willingness to Learn: You are keen to develop further, reflect on your actions, and actively take learnings from your experiences.
- Technical Skills: Confident use of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar). Experience with Personio, DATEV, Trello, and Notion is an advantage.
- Communication: You speak and write excellent German and ideally possess very good English skills (C1+).
Benefits
- A business with purpose: You’ll work on topics that are highly relevant economically, socially, and societally (digitalization, competitiveness of Germany as a business location, labor market policy, equality, technology, etc.).
- Steep learning curve: You’ll work closely with our Head of HR, receive fast onboarding, and start contributing to important topics shortly after joining.
- Long-term perspective: We offer a permanent employment contract and opportunities to grow within the organization according to your skills.
- Attractive package: In addition to a market-competitive salary and in-depth exposure to HR, you’ll benefit from a discounted sports offer via our partner Urban Sports Club, receive high-quality company devices (MacBook, iPhone), and, if needed, reimbursement for public transport (ÖPNV) tickets.
- Great team: We regularly host team events (e.g., summer party, Christmas party) and meet for team lunches so that fun (and good food!) are part of the routine.
