About the role

  • Draft, analyze, and review contracts with suppliers, clients, and partners;
  • Issue legal opinions and advise on internal matters, especially labor-related issues;
  • Provide in-house legal support for formalizing new partnerships and drafting the corresponding contractual instruments;
  • Assess the legal classification of service providers (self-employed, individual entrepreneur (EI), micro-entrepreneur (MEI), sole proprietorship (SLU), limited liability company (LTDA), etc.) and classification of CNAE codes;
  • Interface with internal departments (Commercial, Purchasing, Human Resources, Projects, Tax and Marketing) to handle requests and define appropriate legal instruments;
  • Monitor judicial proceedings (labor, civil, and others) handled by external law firms;
  • Update and maintain corporate documents (articles of association, minutes);
  • Track legal department KPIs;
  • Map legal risks and propose mitigation or elimination measures;
  • Identify, monitor, and ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Law, with active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association)
  • Experience in labor/employment law and contract law, with up-to-date knowledge of the applicable legislation
  • Knowledge of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and related regulations
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI tools for creating control spreadsheets, databases, and charts
  • Corporate experience required. Professional experience in law firms and/or consultancies and/or environmental law is a plus.
