About the role

  • As the leader of the Product Marketing team, you will be responsible for creating and owning the positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and launch strategies that help Syndio win a new category, engage and expand customer accounts, while generating demand from new customers.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, partnering with product, marketing, and sales, lead the planning the launch of new releases, applications, and products, and manage the cross-functional execution of the plan
  • Collaborate with customer success, product development, and sales on the execution of launch plans for these new solutions
  • As the expert on our buyers - who they are, how they buy - you will lead the collaboration with marketing and sales on a go-to-marketing strategy that drives measurable success
  • Understand the competitive landscape using industry and user research, segmentation, needs identification, key benefits articulation, pricing, overall product value proposition, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Develop positioning and messaging based on customer and competitive insights and ensure that is carried across every customer touchpoint from marketing to product to sales
  • Drive market segmentation and analysis, understand target segments and needs, define ideal customer profiles and personas, identify emerging market segments, prepare market and solution forecasts
  • Engage regularly with customers to deeply understand feature needs, identify product gaps, and ensure the voice of the customer is heard in product and design decisions
  • Create compelling messaging and content including selling solutions, pitch decks, sell sheets, videos, blog posts, etc., and drive internal training presentations for sales and customer success
  • Understand and support our sales channels; create and deliver effective enablement content, that helps sellers identify opportunities and communicate our unique value

Requirements

  • Enterprise B2B product marketing experience at a technology company, experience in equity tech and/or SaaS is a plus
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of product marketing across the product life cycle: Customer and competitive Insights; Positioning and Messaging; Go-to-Market Strategy; Customer Success; and Sales Enablement and support
  • Passion and curiosity about the buyer/ customer and developing value-driven messaging and content
  • A gifted storyteller with excellent writing and presentation skills who can translate technical features into benefits that resonate with customers
  • Analytical mindset with a bias toward action
  • You thrive in an all-hands-on-deck, collaborative startup environment
