About the role

  • Collaborate closely with development team to enable faster delivery , great stability and improved operational excellence across our service.
  • Design optimize and secure AWS platform while employing best practices and following industry standards.
  • Develop automation routines and improve workflows for ongoing operational efficiency.
  • Work with engineers , stakeholders and security operations to align technical goal.
  • Write and maintain deployment scripts and process for the services owned by your team.
  • Participate in periodic and on-demand postproduction care activities for services.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience in DevOps and cloud engineering role.
  • Strong Terraform skills with hands-on experience in scripting and state-management techniques.
  • Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS(ECS, VPC, RDS, ALB , ROUTE53 , ACM , TRANSIT GATEWAY etc ..)
  • Hands-on experience in defining and managing CI/CD pipelines using GITHUB.
  • Monitor and Optimize AWS services for performance , cost and resiliency.
  • Implement autoscaling and load balancing mechanisms.
  • Having sound understanding around networking , load balancing , DNS , VPNs , SSL/TLS X.509 certificates and routing.
  • Develop and deploy docker container and orchestration.
  • Experience in building, enhancing & maintaining low-latency, highly available multi-tenant systems, techniques and approaches.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate ideas and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, able to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
  • Structured about work, understands how tasks can be broken down, estimated.
  • Understanding of Scrum process and tools like Jira, Confluence.
  • Comfortable working with Linux/Unix development environment and tools.
  • Ability to guide junior team members.
