About the role

  • Lead the strategic marketing direction and execution for the Synchrony Mastercard credit card portfolio
  • Drive initiatives that accelerate acquisition, deepen loyalty, and increase customer engagement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine the card’s value proposition and spearhead new business development efforts
  • Monitor and optimize marketing spend, including budget approval, forecasting, and pursuing additional funding
  • Champion omni-channel marketing programs, including digital initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma with 10+ years of experience in marketing within credit card or financial services industries
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, including: 2+ years managing teams with direct reporting responsibility
  • Demonstrated expertise in growth marketing, including analytic and creative leadership, consumer-facing credit card programs/products, and digital channel marketing (online and mobile)
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-layered teams and collaborate effectively across matrixed organizations
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
