Account Executive

• Build and own a territory from scratch, across enterprise and mid-market prospects as well as project developers
• Become a technical expert and trusted point of reference for customers and prospects
• Generate net-new opportunities and close new business
• Develop and execute outbound strategies to build and nurture pipeline
• Own the full sales cycle, from first touch to close
• Build and grow relationships with multiple stakeholders to drive deals over the line
• Bring the voice of the customer back to our product team

• Processing of forest lidar data collected by our field team, including co-registration of terrestrial laser scanning (TLS), and pre-processing of airborne laser scanning (ALS) data, using a mix of in-house and manufacturer (RIEGL, Applanix) software.
• Quality assurance of individual tree segmentation from TLS data.
• Rigorous, punctual and consistent backup of large lidar datasets, and working together with the lidar scientists, engineers and the field team for fast delivery of high-quality lidar products at scale.
• Continuously improving our lidar tech; keeping track of developments in science and industry.
• Supporting day-to-day coordination with external partners, with clear communication and a focus on continuous improvement.
• Occasional travel to join data collection missions, test new hardware or data acquisition protocols, and train the field team.

Lidar Technician

Research Scientist

• Developing, training, and deploying 3D deep learning models (e.g., sparse convolutions, PointNet, TreeLearn or other similar architectures) to automate tree instance segmentation and Quantitative Structure Model (QSM) generation.
• Translating experimental ML research into robust, reproducible code, working closely with our production engineering team to deploy models at scale.
• Collaborating with our field teams and scientists to ensure model outputs align with biological reality and accurately capture complex forest structures.
• Taking full ownership of an open applied research problem — scoping, prototyping, and iterating quickly to find solutions where no guaranteed blueprint exists.
• Working in the lidar team to improve existing data products and methods to more efficiently undertake existing and ongoing manual segmentation and quality assurance.
• And beyond segmentation, working with the wider EA team to solve other complex technical challenges involving point cloud and geospatial data, for example including retrieval of metrics characterising forest structure from high-density aerial lidar, forest carbon modeling, uncertainty quantification and automated tree species recognition.
