Implementation Specialist

• Configure and implement the Payroll and Human Resources modules within the SylogistEd K-12 accounting software suite according to company standards, best practices, and district requirements.
• Analyze district payroll processes, pay schedules, and benefit structures to ensure proper software setup.
• Import, validate, and reconcile employee demographic, contract, and pay data during data migration.
• Perform payroll testing and validation with district staff to confirm accuracy of calculations for earnings, deductions, and benefits.
• Document business processes, configuration steps, and district-specific payroll requirements.
• Provide end-user training for payroll administrators, HR staff, and business managers.
• Develop training materials, reference guides, and recorded sessions to support user adoption.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and execute project plans, including milestones, deliverables, and risk management.

• Contribute to testing and feedback for new payroll features prior to release.
• Serve as the internal payroll subject-matter expert, supporting other team members with payroll and HR functional knowledge.

• Manage multiple internal IT projects simultaneously through the entire lifecycle (planning → execution → close-out).
• Coordinate priorities across departments, balancing competing needs while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Drive planning, resource allocation, and prioritization to manage overlapping workstreams.
• Manage and report on project status to key stakeholders and managers through meaningful transparency.
• Oversee project backlog, sprint planning, and reporting using Azure DevOps.

• Report to the Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO) and lead security strategy for Sylogist
• Develop, implement, and oversee security protocols, compliance programs, and risk management strategies
• Plan delivery of solutions, respond to technical RFPs, and enhance security team competencies
• Define security protocols by evaluating business strategies and requirements
• Develop, review, and approve installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices
• Execute corporate identity and access control by implementing Azure AD solutions, MFA, and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Respond to and investigate security incidents and provide post-event analysis
