About the role

  • Maintain Swoop’s brand through copy and ensure consistent brand messaging across formats and platforms.
  • Develop compelling narratives showcasing Swoop’s expertise in pharmaceutical marketing, AI, privacy, and patient-first omnichannel strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry organizations, including negotiating contracts and managing memberships.
  • Leverage research platforms and internal MarTech insights to identify trends and develop thought leadership content.
  • Capture data and analytics from MarTech platforms (e.g., Gong, Seismic, Yoast, Media Radar) to refine content strategy and optimize campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, strategic partners, and industry experts to develop relevant content.
  • Create email marketing campaigns including newsletters, product announcements, and event promotions.
  • Own and maintain Swoop's website copy, optimizing for SEO and user experience.
  • Execute internal communications strategy to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Partner with product, sales, and other teams to align messaging and support campaign execution.
  • Report directly to the VP, Content & Campaign Strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in content marketing or a related field.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in content marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical marketing industry, AI, privacy, and patient-first messaging.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing contracts and working with membership organizations.
  • Proficiency with MarTech software such as Gong, Seismic, Yoast, and Media Radar.
  • East-coast based, preferred.
