About the role
- Drive activities to operationalize and continuously improve tools, processes, standard work and data driven insights in support of global CSE workstreams
- Manage key process indicators or metrics to ensure efficient and effective operations of the team
- Support operating rhythms and tracking of metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement resulting action plans
- Collect data that is used for decision making
- Lead Lean activities to drive continuous improvement related to quality, culture, and sustainable productivity
- Support annual operational planning activity
- Manage functional cost in line with business operating plan for labor, shop work & lab, and general operating costs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Engineering Operations or a business related discipline)
- 3 years industry-related experience
- Demonstrates the GE Vernova Way principles
- Collaborative with capability to drive change in a globally matrixed organization
- Problem analysis and resolution skills
- Data-driven yet decisive despite ambiguity
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Self-directed with the ability to prioritize & manage multiple parallel projects through delivery
- Knowledge of LEAN techniques
- Clear, concise written and oral communications to the appropriate level
