Provide expertise in analyzing technical learning needs for a business or function then designs and delivers training solutions.
Contribute to the design and development of the Initial Certification/License Training Programs for the /BWRX-300 technology, using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and following industry best practices.
Contribute to the quality oversite and maintenance of the Operations Training KSA Analysis/Catalogue(s), Job & Task Analysis, Task to Training Matrices, Curriculum and Evaluation Strategies, Training Program Delivery Schedules, Training Material and Evaluation Instruments.
Represent GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) training in internal, customer and regulatory venues.
Work with other operations training instructors and personnel to support the management and delivery of the training programs and provide strong leadership for assigned programs.
Lead/support training program reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of training and establish priorities and drive plans for continuous improvement.
Contribute to the develop/support corrective actions to address identified areas for improvement.
Requirements
Certified as a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) Instructor at a BWR
Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years' training experience in the nuclear industry, familiar with nuclear industry standards and training practices OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 12 years' experience in the nuclear industry, familiar with nuclear industry standards and training practices
Willingness to travel to other GVH sites and client sites both domestic and international as necessary to support training initiatives (30% travel)
Knowledgeable of, and able to implement, the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
Knowledgeable of Nuclear Operations and related Training including Normal/Off Normal/Abnormal/Beyond Design Basis Plant Conditions
Excellent written and oral technical communication skills including technical English composition, grammar, syntax, formatting, etc.
Demonstrated ability to deliver training, effectively conveying technical concepts to operations personnel that facilitates learning
Demonstrated personal integrity with ability to handle proprietary, confidential, export-controlled and complex technical information
Organized self-starter, with demonstrated ability to perform under pressure, set priorities, meet tight deadlines and with proven ability to gauge needs and proactively take action without direct supervision
Experienced in multiple tasks simultaneously with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to operate computer systems, including proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
Experience with Initial and Requalification Certification Examination development, conduct, and grading
