Provide Technical Leadership of a small group of Engineers and Contractors in activities related to analyses, calculations and technical evaluations required for timely resolution of design and implementation issues
Manage project work schedules and priorities
Mentor and provide technical leadership in area of expertise to other engineers and projects
Support civil systems design and/or equipment construction activities
Review and approve vendor document submittals
Support the certification processes for GE Products to address all US NRC (or other nuclear regulator) design certification requirements
Establish and maintain technical oversight of the applicable regulations
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or other engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
Minimum 8 years of experience in a technology or engineering role
Master’s Degree or greater in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or University preferred
Minimum of 5-8 years of Nuclear or Industrial Technology or Engineering experience preferred
Strong knowledge of fundamental engineering principles, BWR core/fuel material behavior, and mechanical or structural design fundamentals
Professional Engineer registration in one or more states
