About the role
- Provide single-point accountability for delivery of a 5-unit new nuclear site (five BWRX-300’s)
- This includes all aspects of project execution, including contract management, resident engineering, procurement, project controls, business management, QA/QC, construction management and oversight, HS&E, and Start Up & Commissioning
- Work closely with the ITO Lead and Construction Lead in developing the Project Execution Plan and Construction Execution Plan
- Report directly to corporate Site Operations Leader
- Provide all required progress reporting, as delineated by the Program Office
- Provide single-point accountability for issue identification, management, and communication
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 15 years in other technical “power” related business
- 10+ years of experience in the nuclear industry and 5+ years of experience in major project management
- Extensive understanding of power generation and the nuclear industry
- Mega project experience
- Major nuclear project experience
- Significant experience in a senior management role
- Self-starter with ability to break down barriers and improve cross functional collaboration
- Knowledge of project execution risks and financial processes
