About the role
- Manages the Aero Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) projects
- Collaborates with project managers responsible for delivering a defined scope on time, maintaining budget and deliver quality and EHS results
- Responsible for the profit and loss of the project by delivering within time, budget and cash targets in required quality whilst optimizing the margin
- Defines, plans, controls and manages the enterprise project
- Identifies key resources with line management and provides required direction
- Ensures appropriate management and compliance with business directives and EHS standards
- Works with Sales and ITO team to develop and deliver scope of supply, align delivery schedule
- Delivers cost and schedule to close deals
- Manages allocated project to achieve goals and objectives
- Owns, maintains and revises project execution strategy
- Establishes, implements and maintains operating standards for quality project results and customer satisfaction
- Performs proper risk and opportunity management
- Analyzes risks, establishes contingency plans and initiates mitigation action
- Initiates and executes gate reviews as appropriate
- Prepares and performs senior management project reviews as requested
- Provides input justification for project costs and budget impacts
- Develops and maintains relationships with customer, partners and subcontractors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Civil) or Business Management
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management managing scope, schedule, and cost for complex technical projects within power generation and/or energy segment
- Flexible and open to travel up to 30% of the time
- Demonstrated experience managing scope, schedule, and cost for complex technical projects
- Working knowledge of power plant systems, operations, and major equipment components
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and interfacing directly with customers and external partners
- Proficiency with standard project management tools and Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Experience working with global and cross‑regional teams
- Experience leading customer‑facing tendering or execution roles in EPC or power generation projects
- Strong commercial mindset, including understanding of project economics, margin, and risk
- Experience with technical proposal development and contract negotiations
- Demonstrated project management skills in fast‑paced, changing environments
- Collaborative leadership style that builds accountability and high‑performing teams
- Highly organized, self‑driven, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- PMP certification, Master’s degree in Engineering, or MBA is a plus
- Familiarity with industrial or power plant system design and specifications
