About the role

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial data strategy aligned with organizational objectives
  • Serve as primary liaison between finance and business units for data and analytics requirements while providing strategic consultation on data and recommendations
  • Present analytics findings and strategic recommendations to business leaders
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal customers to ensure solution alignment with business needs
  • Lead the democratization of financial data across all business units and stakeholder groups
  • Establish frameworks for data management, security, and accessibility
  • Drive cultural transformation toward data-driven, scalable and sustainable solutions in finance
  • Design and deliver projects focused on eliminating manual work through process excellence and intelligent automation
  • Identify repetitive finance processes suitable for robotic process automation (RPA) and workflow optimization
  • Measure and report on productivity gains achieved through automation initiatives
  • Establish continuous improvement frameworks for ongoing process enhancement
  • Lead initiatives to connect and standardize data flow across the finance organization
  • Establish best practices and standards for advanced analytics development, validation, and monitoring
  • Develop advanced analytics capabilities including predictive modeling, scenario analysis, and statistical forecasting
  • Oversee development process and product management of enterprise data visualization platforms and self-service analytics tools
  • Drive adoption of next-generation analytics including real-time dashboards, interactive reporting, and mobile-enabled insights
  • Provide central intelligence and development support for solutions across finance functions
  • Establish best practices and standards for advanced analytics development, validation, and monitoring
  • Lead evaluation and deployment of AI tools for finance process optimization
  • Collaborate closely with Digital Technology (DT) teams to identify, evaluate, and implement advanced analytics tools and platforms
  • Coordinate technology roadmaps to ensure seamless integration of finance systems with enterprise data architecture
  • Champion the adoption of emerging technologies including cloud-based analytics, machine learning platforms, and real-time data processing tools
  • Oversee vendor relationships and technology partnerships that support finance analytics capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in finance, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, or related quantitative field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, data analytics, or related fields
  • 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing large-scale data and analytics initiatives
  • Deep understanding of financial systems, processes, and reporting requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools
  • Experience with modern data platforms
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and AI implementation in context of business outcomes
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.) and understanding of automation technologies (RPA, workflow management, API integration)
  • Exceptional leadership skills with ability to inspire and manage large, diverse teams
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience delivering complex, multi-year initiatives
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Change management expertise with proven ability to drive organizational transformation
  • Desire to improve stakeholder satisfaction and ability to measure returns on initiatives
