About the role
- All activities providing the necessary support on pre- and post-contractual administration & management, Terms & Conditions of the contract and the Management of claims.
- Involves definition, management, and execution of risk modeling activities in support of the contract or project.
- Owns/influences budgets and operating plans.
- Works with cross functional teams.
- Ensure all contractors remain fully compliant with the terms and conditions of their respective subcontracts, protecting project integrity and minimizing risk exposure.
- Oversee and ensure organizational compliance with all subcontractual obligations and commercial commitments.
- Lead the strategic management, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of contractual claims in alignment with contractual provisions and company procedures.
- Own profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts, driving both financial performance and operational excellence.
- Provide leadership for service agreements and time & materials program management.
- Support commercial growth by assisting in sales campaigns, new contract pursuits, and proposal development.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues while strengthening long-term customer partnerships.
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices that enhance products, processes, and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of power generation construction project execution experience, including on-site leadership, familiarity with union and non-union environments, and knowledge of full construction sequencing from early site works through final completion.
- Minimum 5 years of construction contract management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of nuclear power plant experience.
- Professional certification such as CFCM, CCCM, CCPM (preferred).
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites and to travel to headquarters as needed.
- Extensive experience negotiating and managing complex construction contracts (T&M, FPLS, consortium-based, prime/sub structures, etc.).
- Strong commercial acumen with working knowledge of accounting, finance, contracts, and risk management principles.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, Teams, and third-party vendor/client portals.
