represent GE Vernova at sales forums, industry events, and conferences
interface with global AEMS teams to standardize best practices using LEAN principles
define AEMS control center configurations and design system architectures that meet both customer requirements and GE Vernova standards

Requirements

7+ years of experience as a customer-facing technical solution architect
Bachelor’s Degree in Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering
Familiarity with Transmission utility operations in the NAM region
experience with SCADA operational control systems
knowledge of State Estimation, Optimal Power Flow (OPF), Contingency Analysis, Security Constrained Dispatch, and Transmission Grid Stability
experience with highly available, self-healing systems, containerization, and microservices
understanding of DNP3, ICCP, and IEC 61850 standards
knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational systems
cross Functional knowledge and experience in Distribution Management and DERMS systems is a bonus
experience designing operational systems in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
