About the role
- Lead sales efforts within a defined geographic territory, driving growth across products, services, parts, and solutions while maintaining a strong commercial focus and strategic influence representing GE Vernova.
- Develop and execute long-term strategic account and communication plans, ensuring a unified “one face to the customer” approach across offerings and functions.
- Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline, including complex, multi-offering transactions such as parts, repairs, outage services, upgrades, digital solutions, and service agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Engineering, Customer Fulfillment, and Marketing to enhance proposal strategies, outage planning, and customer engagement.
- Provide leadership in proposal development, leveraging templates and tools to create compelling offers that align with customer needs and business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 7 years of technical knowledge and experience within the Power Generation industry in either Commercial roles, Marketing, Sales, and/or Project Management of Power Generation Equipment.
- Ability to work across functions independently and be a self-starter driver developing relationships at the C-suite of internal / external customer.
- Superior business acumen / analytic ability to manage and influence in a matrix environment with commercial leadership skills.
- Long-term business mindset with Financial, analytic skills, and strategic planning capabilities.
