About the role
- We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Front-End Project Manager to lead and oversee small to medium-sized non-turnkey or product/equipment-only projects in the Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) domain. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting customer expectations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
- This role requires basic experience in the Project Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college with 10+ years of experience ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience). Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Proven experience in project management, preferably in Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) or related electrical equipment projects. Strong knowledge of project management principles, risk management, and contract management. Proficiency with project management software and ERP systems (experience with SAP preferred). Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams. Strong customer relationship management skills. Ability to work autonomously, make decisions within a defined framework, and consult with senior team members for complex issues. Familiarity with Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) standards. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
