About the role

  • The Advanced Technology and Innovation Leader is responsible for the overall management of the Artificial Intelligence, design for Robotics de la fabrication des produits (Design for Automation) et additive manufacturing in line with the GE Vernova’s strategic objectives while adhering to cross-functional policies, particularly quality and product safety.
  • Leading the R&D organization for Advanced Technology and Innovation.
  • Coordinating activities with the high voltage (HV) development team, ensuring the integration of digital technologies by design into High Voltage switchgear.
  • Ensuring that the testing and validation team handles all testing campaigns (software, EMC, electrical safety, CE marking), and that they are supported by internal experts.
  • Coordinating development activities at the international level, particularly in research units located abroad.
  • Representing your group within the research center organization, ensuring strategic alignment with other center pillars and actively participating in defining future technological directions.

Requirements

  • Engineer or equivalent in electronics, electricity, industrial computing, or a related field, or any other relevant domain.
  • Strong experience in a leadership position, with demonstrated experience in developing complex technological products.
  • Experience in an agile environment, with project management via Jira or other similar project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge in cybersecurity, with a good understanding of secure development processes and associated regulations.
  • Good knowledge of high voltage equipment/switchgear, particularly AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear) and GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear), as well as their integration with digital technologies by design.
  • Expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams (development, testing, validation, software, etc.).
  • Ability to manage international projects, with teams spread across different units worldwide, ensuring the coherence of developments.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, respecting quality, safety, cost, and deadline constraints.
