About the role
- Build strong partnership with Heavy Duty New Units (HDGT) functional stakeholders
- Collaborate with business, functional partners and technology leadership to define strategic and tactical roadmap of ERP Digital Capabilities today in SAP PowerMax and longer-term in Cloud-native ERP
- Responsible for driving scope, practices, and overall IT strategy for the central Finance processes including but not limited to SAP PowerMax
- Develop Target process model & solution design for business functions to provide productivity and drive alignment across all affected functional stakeholders applying lean methodology and emerging technologies (AI)
- Proactively and holistically lead, consult and/or oversee multiple engagements across the Power Enterprise Solutions IT organization in response to disruptive trends and execution of change toward the desired business vision and outcomes
- Lead research and evaluation of emerging technology, including Agentic and Generative AI, industry and market trends to assist in project development for the Enterprise Solutions team
- Interface with business process owners and functional leaders to map out existing and future processes/sub-processes, data sources, data models, systems, and workflows into a common enterprise-wide data model within application framework
- Act as the subject matter expert for Heavy Duty New Units ERP processes and supporting applications functionality
- Gather requirements and collaborate with functional partners for prioritizations to drive the business outcome
- Drive ERP landscape simplification by collaborating with other value stream leaders as well as Data Lake reporting and Finance ecosystems
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience or knowledge
- A minimum of 10 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within IT program/product areas
- Proven expertise in program management, with a track record of successful project delivery
- Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization
- Understanding of AI, Machine learning and data science with specialized focus on Generative AI & prompt engineering
- Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
- Demonstrated ability of working with senior-level stakeholders to define, lead, and implement process and tools strategy to drive process improvement changes
- Ability to develop partnership with cross functional teams and develop an inclusive & collaborative environment
- Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills; communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
